My sister is mean....

So my sister, who is in Texas, just called me. Grrr.... so, she went to this Rob Zombie concert, which I was uber-jealous of. But then, just to be mean, she calls me and leaves a message saying: "Hey, little sister. I'm just standin here in my new Rob Zombie T-shirt... which I got at the show... and I thought I'd give you a call and rub it in a little..." Ok, so I added in the "rub it in a little" part, but man! I'm jealous. It angers me a little.

How disappointing

I'm very very disappointed. The Apocalypse was SUPPOSED to be today. We were SUPPOSED to begin the Rapture!!! Why not?!?! Grr...

And I was SO looking forward to death, chaos, distrucion, disorder, and general discomfort!!!

Ah well, life continues.

Now I am sad....

mood: sad sad

So my sister just called me... she wants me to stay in Texas for a whole month. Now, normally this wouldn't be a problem at all. Nope. Zero problem. Only, it just so happens that she wants me to go during August. August. The plane ticket she told me to buy has me leaving on the first, and then coming back on the first of September. Still, ordinarily, I'd be really excited about getting to live with my sister for a month. But it's August.

August just so happens to be the month that one of my bestest friends is coming back from Hawaii. Where he's been since September. I've been almost literally counting down the days until he gets back... and he just told me a while ago that he's coming back during the first week of August.

So I won't get to see him until September, and that makes me sad. I may only stay for a week or two, except I'm supposed to be flying with my... uh... step-nephew I guess. He's 10 and doesn't want to fly by himself. Which is totally cool and understandable, especially since I don't particularly want to fly by myself either, but he'll really want to stay for as long as he can, and I'd really really hate to make him come back earlier just because I don't really want to stay.

Grr... it's quite the dilemma.

I'm kinda thinking that I'll try to not leave until a couple days after my friend gets back... that way I'll be able to see him once or twice before I left... that might be doable, except for the fact that I don't know exactly when he's coming back and I kinda want to buy a ticket now-ish since they'll be cheaper...

Arrrrgh. Life seems to like messing with my head.

YAY! THE APOCALYPSE IS TOMORROW!!!

We had quite the discussion today in math about how all of some random prophesy is coming true in some vague obscure way, and so tomorrow is going to be the beginning of the end of the world. YAY!!!

Apparantly there's also some random website where you can bet on whether or not the Apocalypse will begin tomorrow. I'm gonna try to find that website and see if it pays well... we'll just ignore the fact that I'm not actually old enough to bet on stuff....

I do believe it is rather exciting to see all the uber-superstitious uber-christians I know freaking out. It's rather amusing. Of course, I actually remember several times during my lifetime that the world was supposed to end. Obviously all those people were wrong, so I really have no reason to believe that it'll finally end tomorrow.

Besides, who's to say the Christians are right about everything anyway? I mean, sure they could be. The Catholics could be the only ones who know what they're talking about. But then, so could the Jews. Or the Hindus. Or the atheists. Hell, even the satanists have just as much right to be right as anyone else, minus the crazy killing rituals.

But still. That's got nothing to do with anything... It's all just a buncha religious propaganda put out there to strike fear into the hearts of the masses. I must admit, it seems to be working. It amuses me greatly when people run around in fear of nothing. Though it is slightly angering too, since they start being all stupid about it...

Either way, at the moment, I'm lovin life.
